GatePass is devoted to improving communication, transparency, and administration in communities. Over the next few months, we will be taking steps to make GatePass as useful and as efficient as possible. First, we have decided to review our pricing system.

Reviewing our pricing system allows us to provide stellar service, hire new talent, and develop more exciting features while keeping up with the rising cost of business. We considered options such as billing per household or billing per utilization while making this decision. However, we decided to bill per community because it favours both community residents and property managers. Under this approach, the cost of a community’s bill is not a casual decision. Rather, it is based on the number of households in the community and the features they choose to use.

This method also provides allowance for property managers to supervise multiple communities.

Our pricing will be structured into 4 categories- Free, Community, Property Management and Portfolio Manager.

  • The Free plan is suitable for small communities and apartment buildings. With this plan, you can use the app for free and register 20 homes without any additional costs. We believe that GatePass should be accessible to every community, irrespective of their budget. While the community bears setup and data costs, you have access to features such as Visitor Management, Car Monitoring, and the Notice Board. Communities on our Free plan will have ads and limited features on their GatePass app. Residents of communities on the Free plan can pay a fee to specifically turn off the ads or their community can upgrade their service plan.
  • The Community Plan is a perfect fit for larger communities and apartment buildings that wish to introduce more structure and establish tighter processes and controls. This plan allows you to add up to 50 households. It includes features such as Visitor Management, Staff Management, Emergency, Complaints & Service requests, Bill Payments, Cars, and Service Charge Wallet, which allows you to store, track and manage your service charge payments better. If you’d like add-ons for additional households, you can simply pay N3000 (three thousand naira) per month.
  • The Property Management plan serves property managers and facility managers who are looking to deliver best-in-class service quality and transparency. With the freedom of unlimited number of households and manage up to 5 communities, the communities have access to all our premium features. The manager bears the cost of setup and data and has access to our Premium Complaints feature where they can charge service fees on work orders.
  • The Portfolio Manager plan is perfect for property developers and portfolio managers who oversee a larger property portfolio and interact with different stakeholders. Here, you can manage up to 30 communities alongside an unlimited number of households, access Feature Control across all managed communities, and view dashboard, Community Insight, and usage reports.

If you require some time to decide whether or not to commit to the new pricing plan, don’t worry about it. You can still use GatePass at its current pricing till October 1st, 2022, when we intend to launch the new plans. However, if you purchase any paid plan by July 31st, you will receive 20% discount on annual subscriptions.
